I was asked in an interview years ago what my one naughty food love was and I confidently answered mayonnaise.
Now you will believe when I tell you this totally began, mayo free, chickpea salad collard wrap is my new favorite lunch. I don't fool around with creamy salads, they HAVE to taste delicious. This one uses only avocado and lemon juice. It shouldn't work. It flys in the face of mayonnaise reason, but it does work and you have to try it.

I just got back from a 3 day medical conference (The Institute for Functional Medicine) focused on hormonal imbalances and holy insanity my brain just might explode from knowledge.🤓🤓
I made this recipe, a Ricotta Flatbread with Roasted Rhubarb, as total comfort food and then found out that rhubarb is an excellent food for hormonal health as it can help to modify estrogen metabolism, and is used therapeutically in Peri-menopause.

This may just look like a head of humble lettuce to you, but to me it is one of the best bits about summer. This beauty was from my CSA and was gobbled up right quick. Nothing tastes as good as fresh garden lettuce . Growing up we had a green salad on the dinner table every night. It is still the one food I crave consistently. Dressed with extra virgin olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and red wine vinegar. You should drink the bowl of vinegar when the salad is done (that's how my baby sis does it). Lovely, humble, simple lettuce, packed with nutrients and still one of my favorite veggies. Can I get some paws up for lettuce?? 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

1 cup almond milk
1/4 cup Chia seeds
1/4 cup rhubarb raspberry compote
Hemp seeds and cacao nibs
Combine almond milk and Chia seeds overnight. Layer with rhubarb compote and top with superfoods!
